Owlthorpe Orchard Project
Owlthorpe Orchard was first planted in 2009 and was a partnership project between the Owlthorpe Community Forum, Sheffield City Council and Sheffield Countryside Conservation Group.
The Orchard was planted using stock grafted from Beighton Orchard. The grafting was completed by some members of the Beighton Environment Group, Shirebrook Conservation Group and the Owlthorpe Community Forum. After 3 years the grafted fruit trees were planted at Owlthorpe.
This new project includes 2 area; the Orchard area and the stock proof hedge.
