Here you'll find a list of our upcoming events and how to book your place.  Some of our events don't require you to book but it's always helpful if you can let us know if you plan on coming.  You can either email us or message us on Facebook.​​​

Saturday 11th October 2025 - Autumn Lantern Making​

Birley Moor Garden Centre 10.00am - 12.00pm​

This is the first of three sessions led by local artist Angie Hardwick, creating your very own lantern for our event celebrating the restored Community Orchard in Owlthorpe on the 25th October.

All materials and sessions are FREE to attend.​​

Wednesday 22nd October 2025 - Autumn Lantern Making​

Birley Moor Garden Centre 11.00am - 5.00pm

This is the second of three sessions led by local artist Angie Hardwick, creating your very own lantern for our event celebrating the restored Community Orchard in Owlthorpe on the 25th October.

All materials and sessions are FREE to attend.​​

Saturday 25th October 2025 - Autumn Lantern Making​

This is the last of three sessions led by local artist Angie Hardwick, creating your very own lantern for our event celebrating the restored Community Orchard in Owlthorpe on the 25th October.

All materials and sessions are FREE to attend.​​

Saturday 25th October 2025 - Lantern Parade​

Birley Moor Garden Centre 3.45pm - 6.30pm

We will be gathering at Birley Moor Garden Centre at 3.45pm and walking to Owlthorpe Community Orchard at 4.00pm with lanterns made at the lantern making sessions (or you can bring your own).

 

 The lanterns will be hung on the apple trees as a celebration of all the fruit they have given to us this year.  Spiced apple juice will be provided to warm you. 

 

All welcome (children must be accompanied by an adult).​
